About the House

Krumlov 82 is a family home with more than 300 years of history. It was built as early as 1750 for servants from the castle.

Since then, the house has seen different times and many different owners, who did not always respect the ancient character of the property and sometimes had very peculiar building ideas. In the 1990s, for example, a German antiques dealer built a bulletproof glass wall on the ground floor, and an Austrian businessman used half of the house as office space.

In 2012, we started the latest chapter in the house’s history. We bought it, moved in, and started a family. Seven years later, we moved out of town, and decided that the lovely house would make a unique holiday home for visitors. In 2020, Krumlov 82’s interiors underwent a complete renovation with the aim of preserving the ancient character of this beautiful building. We love coming back from time to time and enjoying the home’s wonderful holiday atmosphere.
